QuickBooks Project Cost Accountant = PURCHASING*FINANCE*CONSTRUCTION - General Contracting Company

You will be filling a role bridging Purchasing and Finance in a Construction Company.

Salary, dependent upon experience and language abilities within the range of AED 3,500 to 7,200. Please DO NOT apply if you would not accept this.

******Therefore, you must have past experience in Purchasing, Finance AND the Construction industry in order to understand and properly perform in this role.*******

Salary, dependent upon experience and language abilities within the range of AED 3,500 to 7,200.
Qualified native English speakers/Westerners may be considered for a broader scope role at a higher increment.

Using QuickBooks, tasks will include, though is not limited to:
-assigning project account numbers
-entering project budgets and BOQ's
-verifying quantities requested for PO against project budgets
-entering and processing Purchase Orders accurately against the appropriate project and under the applicable category
-addressing and communicating discrepancies between budget and requests
-monitor project costs and savings
-recommend inventory for use against projects
-foresee and highlight areas of risk
-clear delivery notes against purchase orders for payment clearance
-assist with Accounts Payable
-report and schedule outgoing payments in coordination with Sr. Accountant
-maintain strong relation with Vendors and Accounts Departments
-process material and equipment costs project-wise
-allocate labor costs project-wise
-pull related reports for Management review
-recommend areas for cost-savings
-recommend areas/elements/processes for improvement
-assist in Procurement activities as required
-assist in Finance activities as required
-if fluent in Arabic, assist with Arabic requirements as required

Police screening will be required.
