About Your Job:
In this role, you will assist in the preparation and approval of Technical Documentation contained in the Qatar Airways Operations Manual Parts A to D. You will ensure managing the workload to meet operational requirement and provide technical guidance to manual owners on the most efficient method of meeting operational requirements. You are expected to apply appropriate strategy at a document level for choice of software to meet high standard of operational requirement.
Working within a team, you will need to work to present targets and timelines as a team; and show initiative and originality at the same time. Along with that you will be involved in planning & organizing to meet the demands of the Airline Operational requirement and coordinate with the Higher Management within Flight Operations in relation to approvals and escalating any disruptions. You will ensure that Qatar Airways established publications are 100% accurate and a continual analysis of the progress of each manual revision is made and action are taken to minimise the possible disruption to the publication schedule.
About You:
This position essentially requires you to have good working knowledge of Airline Flight Operations Technical Publication and knowledge of Structured Documentation. Familiarity with concepts of internal & external approval of Airline Operations Manual will be an added advantage.
You should have minimum of 2 years work experience within Airline Technical Publications Department with a high school certificate in hand. Must be computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Web based Technologies (XML / SGML / HTML). You should also have excellent people management, leadership, interpersonal and team skills. Excellent eye for detail & communication skills in spoken/written English is an essential requirement of the job.
