Overall Purpose of the Job
1. To process the payments of all approved invoices received from Accounts payable.
2. To prepare bank payment instructions through Electronic Banking and through Manual Request.
3. To record all banking transactions in the financial systems (P
4. The job requires working knowledge of financial systems, book keeping practices and some knowhow of banking systems.
Principal Accountabilities
Prepare payments of all due and approved invoices both for local and foreign currencies
Be a custodian of Petty Cash fund and disburse payments when required.
Record transaction in the company financial systems (SWAP)
Prepare bank reconciliation statement
Requirements:
Diploma in Commerce and Accounting
Work experience of minimum two years as an Accountant, preferably in an oil and gas company.
Communication skills - Must be able to read and write English
Good working knowledge of MS Office
