About the Job:
The incumbent ensures that TQM programs exist to support the business strategy and guides the process to achieve the strategic goals of AFA. The job holder is accountable for all aspects of TQM, its establishment and effectiveness as the principal vehicle for continual improvement.
Help respective organizations in their QMS Audit program. Work closely with internal customers, CE / QA officers, to ensure that QMS help them address their business issues while meeting corporate objectives. Lead QMS implementation and certification in individual organisations. Maintain communication with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
The incumbent provides management with the statistical data by conducting detailed reviews and analysis and recommends strategies to ensure improvement in QMS performance. The incumbent is responsible for the budget of QA section and ensures effective cost controls are in place to keep expenditures within budgetary limitations.
The job holder must have extensive knowledge of Total Quality Management /QA concepts, tools, principles, processes and practices. He must be able to motivate and persuade to his point of view and encourage and motivate staff. Enthusiasm and goal orientation are important competency requirements, as is the ability to present constructive criticism of current practices from a process audit viewpoint. He must keep himself constantly informed of the latest developments and best practice in the management of quality world-wide.
You will be responsible for providing technical advisory support related for all aspects of Total Quality Management (TQM) in AFA. Establish frame for continual improvement.
Lead respective organizations towards ISO certifications (9001, 27001 etc) and awards.
Other key accountabilities include:
* Play a lead role to cascade Total Quality Management culture in AFA. Provide technical reference and managerial focus within AFA for planning, implementation, administration and development of the processes and procedures which form the core of Total Quality Management.
* Help organization's under AFA's umbrella towards ISO certifications (9001, 27001 etc). Prepare framework for Integrated Management System.
* Act as a catalyst for change and improvement in organization effectiveness. Lead projects related to Business Process Reengineering, 6 sigma etc.
* To further reinforce AFA's drive for quality, ensure that QA documentation, internal process audits and continual improvement programs are in place and up to date.
* Gain and maintain commitment of concerned to quality standards and objectives by developing, delivering and administering appropriate training programs.
* Be the primary point of contact for the certification body and government agencies.
