Senior Drilling & Completion Engineer - Qatar
This role is based onshore in Qatar. You must have experience working for an Oil and Gas Operator. You must have excellent verbal and written English language skills. You must have between 10 - 15 years experience for this role. Any more and you will be too senior.

Our client a leading International organisation with decades of industry experience is currently looking to recruit a Senior Drilling Engineer
The role:
- Quickly become acquainted with the oil fields and techniques used for drilling, completion and production in the field including the ability to assimilate alternative well control methods.
- Actively participate in team work to identify and develop additional reserves through the creation of strategies to apply appropriate old, current and/or new technologies in the field.
- Preparation of and participation in team presentation of strategies and technology to management and partners.
- Implementation of strategy through preparation and application of Drilling and Completion Programs generally at the office level and at the field when required.
- Provides quality well designs that meet project well objectives and utilize established engineering tools and standards.
- Develops well researched and documented drilling procedures.
-Provides detailed, accurate and documented drilling time and cost estimates.
- Performs engineering well surveillance during execution and writes post-well engineering report using established standards.
- Manages along with specialists, designates serviced contracts.
Required Qualifications:
- Ideally Degree in Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent drilling experience.
- Experience of working for an Oil and Gas 'Operator'
- Experience of Jack up rigs
- Ideally 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Ideally 5 years of experience in onshore and offshore drilling operations.
- Fluent written and spoken in English.
- Good data management, business skills and leadership.
