PRODUCTION ENGINEERRotation- 28/28Location- Erbil KurdistanPay rate- $1800 per day
- Technical support on design, commisioning and operation of oil and gas wells, gathering systems and production facilities- Key liaison between reservoir engineering, production operations, facility design, and drilling/completion well design- Direct involvement in design of well completions, including design and selection of down hole equipment, tubulars and wellheads.- Focal point in design and specifying artificial lift systems. Recommending and initiating improvements.- Monitoring well and artificial lift performance; including a lead role in ensuring the appropriate data to facilitate monitoring is collected.- Initiating well work overs and/or repairs to wellbores- Monitoring gathering system and process facility operations and making recommendations for improvements to optimize operations; including reducing operating costs and improving efficiencies.- Technical input into effective and economical chemical selection and usage.- Considering and promoting HSE in all proposed programs and procedures; includes review and understanding of Kurdistan local regulations and application of either TAQA or local standards, whichever is more stringent- Direct involvement in timely submission of the daily and monthly production and operations reports- Assist with preparation of budgets, monitoring performance against the budget, and making recommendations of actions to meet or exceed budget targets.- Conceiving and proposing projects which add value to the property.- Frequent visits to the onsite operations, maintain good working relationship with the field staff.- Assist Field operational personnel with tendering for required services and materials - Development of subordinate staff.
Qualifications
- Degree in an engineering discipline- Industry Training Courses in Reservoir Engineering, Process Design, Artificial Lift, Workovers and Completions- Industry Training Course in ESP Design & Operation- H2S Safety Training Certification- Emergency Management Response Training- Oil Spill Management response training
