Operations Manager The Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management and safe operations of the Company assets in the Field, ensuring the objectives of the company are fully met within the approved budget and resources. Rotation: 28/28Pay: $2000 USD per dayContract Length- 1 year contract The Operations Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage all aspects of asset management in the MLN Field on all fronts, including but not limited to facilities engineering, production operations, production forecasting, reservoir management, fluid processing and management, corrosion and contaminant handling, offshore operational logistics and drilling. - Provide leadership, management, technical, production and financial direction for the safe, efficient and optimum running of the MLN onshore plant and its related facilities.- Demonstrated leadership on health, safety, environment and security (HSES) and champion of all HSES programs ensuring that the highest standards are adhered to.- Achieve production goals set by the company, anticipating and mitigating all the risks that will hinder from meeting those goals to maximise reserves recovery over the remaining field life.- Full accountability for HSES performance as per the company's targets and objectives for the MLN asset.- Full accountability for the production plan, production delivery, operating and facilities expenditure, production efficiency, operational efficiency and planned turnarounds.- Identify all short and long term constraints on current asset performance and deliver realistic plans for improving value from production operations.- Develop operational strategy, work program and budgets for the MLN asset, and seek approvals.- Supervise the regular production reporting and progress information on all matters related to asset management, including regulatory reporting to Partners, Host Government and Corporate headquarters.
Minimum requirements are as follows:
- Engineering degree or equivalent- Competent knowledge of operating best practices- Good communication skills- OPEX creation and budget tracking knowledge- Minimum 15 years' experience working in the Oil & Gas industry role- Proficient computer skills- Strong ability to lead in a team environment- Efficient time management in order to meet company's schedule & requirements- Deemed competent in Management of Major Emergency's by a third party
