About Your Job:
Commis Chef is responsible to ensure all requirements for F & B locations are prepared as per the production plan provided. Commis Chef also has to ensure that meals prepared are as per standard recipes and within HACCP guidelines. The Commis Chef will also perform duties in the FOH, such as call order and short cook duties or any other such duties as required by the management
Responsible to ensure that all meals are prepared on time as per the production plan and all meals produced by him/her are as per production schedules and any balances are managed effectively to minimize wastage in the section.Ensures that all dishes prepared by you are as per standard specifications and any change is highlighted to the senior chefs for updating on the system. You are also responsible to ensure that all meals prepared are as per HACCP standards and as per QDF/F&B specifications.
About You:
The successful candidate will have an excellent oral and written communication skills, with a good knowledge of English.
Ideally you will be within a similar culture in an international airport, hotel or shopping complex with a multimillion turnover business. A minimum of 2 years of job related experience and have previously worked as a commis. Less than high school qualifications and a certificate in Catering or Professional Cookery such as City & Guilds entry level.
