PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
* Supports high-growth solution and technology areas in key deals.
* Leads customer roadmaps and solution architecture discussions to drive customer acceptance.
* Is a subject matter expert at the highest level to facilitate solution knowledge sharing in the region
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Supports complex and strategic deals across the market unit and region in order to achieve SAP targets for software license revenue.
* Be the subject matter expert and provides advanced presales support for one or more of 5 SAP market strategies and assigned solution(s).
* Interacts with customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions.
* Reinforces the business value of SAP solutions through creation of compelling presentations, demonstrations and participation in Solution Revolution / Design Thinking / Value Engineering engagements
* Enforces consistent presales processes including qualifications, discovery sessions, dry-runs to ensure superior demos and presentations.
* Attends customer meetings and delivers in-depth solution discussion, advanced topics, future direction and roadmap
* Can lead Journey Mapping workshops with customers
* Helps AEs to assess customer needs and if SAP is a good fit and assists in development plan on moving the customer to Stage D.
* Serves as a champion for assigned solution(s) and provides knowledge transfer to presales colleagues as needed
WORK EXPERIENCE
* 8+ years of relevant Presales experience
* 3-5 years of Solution Specialist (or equivalent customer facing) experience in areas appropriate to the job
