Water Supply Coordinator- Zaatari Camp - ACTED

Under the supervision of the Water Supply Manager, the Water Supply Coordinator is in charge of supervising and monitoring the delivery of potable water in Zaatari camp, providing regular reports.
-Set-up and supervision of the water supply system:
-Implements and coordinates the water delivery system to WASH centers, drinking points, and key delivery points for other agencies operating in Zaatari (according to a pre-established schedule);
-Follows up on request calls through the water delivery hotlines in case of emergency;
-Adjusts water delivery system when facing issues: defines solutions, validates with Water Supply Manager and coordinates implementation
-Liaises with relevant contractor(s) as regards day-to-day activities
-Ensures that the water supply vouchers are accurately completed and registered in log book;
-Ensures that vouchers are counted and cross checked at the end of the day, and that vouchers are transferred for data entry;
-Ensures that all water trucks provide the required documentation before being allowed to distribute water in the camp;
-Collaborates with the Water Quality Officer and Water Tester to ensure that only water which meets quality standards is brought into the camp;
-Negotiates/communicates with beneficiaries (in collaboration with the Community Mobilisation PM and Manager or the Accountability Officer where necessary) in case of problems with water delivery - including access, water quality and supply complaints
-Ensures the production of daily reports, submitted to the Water Supply Manager, on the total quantity of water delivered and any other key information concerning the day’s activities.
-Provides data and information for reports to be submitted to the donor(s);
-Communicates with the Water Supply Manager and relevant staff for any difficulty linked to his/ her tasks, to ACTED’s intervention or to security situation and proposes possible solutions
