Risk Officer:
The roles and responsibilities of the Risk Officer are but not limited to:
• Develop and communicate Board of Director approved risk management policies and limits and ensure framework remains aligned with regulations and remains robust and effective in an ever-changing risk environment.
• Establish, communicate and facilitate the use of appropriate methodologies, tools and techniques to identity, measure, monitor and report risks.
• Work with all departments to establish, maintain and continuously improve risk management capabilities.
• Assist in communicating and monitoring the company’s risk appetite.
• Monitor all operations and ensure alignments with the company’s limits and follow-up on breaches.
• Develop appropriate and regular risk reporting mechanism to all relevant parties (management, stakeholders, Group Risk Management) and follow-up on issue closure.
• Assist the CEO, Investment Committee and the Management Committee with capital and resource allocation decisions, including providing an independent view regarding proposed new products and services.
• Ensures that the Risk Function is fully compliant and aligned with the requirements set by the Group Risk Function.
• Promote the risk culture at Audi Capital.
• Remunerated based on the achievement of his objectives, independent of the businesses (and their performances), which he oversees.
• Conduct risk management awareness sessions and trainings.
Internal Control:
The internal control provides management with a valuation of the business’s processes and activities and detects any deficiency or weaknesses in the process and controls by following a set of yearly checks carried out based on the internal control framework.
The aspects that are covered are:
• Valuating the efficiency of operations and controls
• Ensuring the compliance with internal procedures, regulatory rules and contracts
• Implementing an Action plan to regularize discrepancies
