Job Description
* Provide rotating equipment discipline expertise to direct the engineering and maintenance activities of the company to achieve the business targets
* Define and control the rotating equipment discipline maintenance process to be followed for company operations to ensure:
o Technical integrity of plant and equipment
o Cost-effective maintenance solutions
o Consistency of approach for the different operational groups
* The primary person to establish and follow-up scope for vendor maintenance service for rotating equipment assets
* Act as contract executor and company focal point for rotating equipment maintenance discipline service contracts
* Act as custodian for discipline DEPs and related rotating equipment standards
* Provide technical advice and support to operational groups in the form of trouble shooting and problem solving of referred items.
* Provide rotating equipment technical advice and approval for basis for design, detailed design and implementation phases of projects
* Raise and review all Material Master Proposals for operational equipment spares within rotating equipment discipline
* Create, review and update rotating equipment maintenance strategies, equipment maintenance reference plans and FdT.
* Ensure that performance standards of Safety Critical Elements are defined and that performance assurance activities are well managed.
* Provide the required support/input to the Integrity Activity Planning process
* Provide effective and efficient support to work preparation process
* Provide input while building Maintenance execution budget
* Provide necessary procedures to define rotating equipment discipline maintenance activities
* Analyse rotating equipment facility maintenance and operating performance, develop and progress improvement proposals to plant, systems or practices
Job Requirements
* Degree qualified member of a recognised engineering institution, preferably with Chartered Engineer status.
* Minimum of 10 years in the upstream hydrocarbon producing industry comprising experience of Mechanical maintenance and engineering.
* Good interpersonal, analytical and PC skills.
