Department Description: The MEA Systems Engineering Team within Motorola is responsible for
pro-actively understanding customer communications needs,
creating competitive solutions that meet those needs, and
persuasively communicating to influence vendor selection to win supply contracts for
equipment, services and applications and once awarded, need to deliver these solutions and ensure they are supported throughout the Solutions life cycle.
Scope of Engagement - entire Solution life cycle
Responsibilities/Expectations: Work will be reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Learns and closely follows
established processes and directions.
Makes independent decisions but may receive input from more experienced
colleagues.
Receives instructions for routine work, new projects or assignments.
Knowledge Skills: Degree in electrical engineering gained through a recognised period of study at
University, or equivalent education or experience in
communications/Networking/electrical/electronic engineering.
Experience in one or more of the following would be advantageous: Radio Systems
Engineering, Command and Control Systems, Local and Wide Area Networks,
Networking Protocols, Wireless broadband
Fluent in English, Arabic & French advantageous
Willingness to travel at short notice within Europe, Middle East and Africa as project
needs demand
