International Store Merchandiser - LC Waikiki

Place in the Organization:

This is a cross functional planning role that reports to International Planning Manager, while working closely with Merchandise Buying teams. Position will be part of LC Waikiki’s International Operations organization. One allocator reports to each store merchandiser.
There will be 30 store merchandisers in total. Currently, we have a team of twenty store merchandisers and would like to fill the remaining positions with candidates who have market experience in LC Waikiki’s high growth regions.

Brief Description of the Role:

International Store Merchandiser establishes and manages the Demand and Merchandise Plans for LC Waikiki products for international operations. This is achieved through analysis
of business performance and collaboration with other functional areas in determining the most accurate Plan/Forecast for the business. International Store Merchandiser is responsible for planning and forecasting financial measures on business performance, including sales to plan and to last year, gross margin and profit. This role also makes the shipment decisions to international stores, manages in store inventories by closely monitoring inventory measures related to turn and weeks of supply and makes markdown and inventory call decisions to
increase profitability.

CIS Region: Most notably Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
Middle East and North Africa: Most important countries are Egypt and Morocco.
Balkans and Eastern Europe: Primary countries are Bulgaria, Romania and Ex-Yugoslavian
Republics in the region.

Area of Responsibility:

Store Merchandiser will be managing a Merchandise Group, ie. Womenswear, Menswear, Boyswear, Girlswear, Teenage Boyswear, Teenage Girlswear, Infants and Toddlers, and Accessories in one of the regions listed above. Hence experience in respective product group, in one or more of the main countries within the above listed regions is a must.
