PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
DTS (Data & Technology Services) is the comprehensive service offering of SAP that addresses typical large enterprise customer challenges like:
* Simplification & harmonization of IT Landscape
* Reduce TCO and optimization of SAP operations
* Build agile IT platform to be ready for innovation
DTS is designed to bring to the customer best of breed services focused on simplification, optimization, cost reductions and technology change.
On top DTS is providing top of the edge services for the new SAP market position as Database & Data Management company incl. RTDP, HANA, ASE/IQ, Cloud, Information Management and Middleware.
The SSEM for Data & Technology Services (f/m) will drive the overall DTS sales in her/his Market Unit either together with the local Account teams or directly with customers.
In order to achieve her/his mission and targets, the SSEM (f/m) must engage and leverage multiple stakeholders in the related SAP environments. This role combines business strategy and execution coordination as well as operational direct sales.
The individual will work closely with local SAP Consulting Sales Management, SSEMs, SAMs, D&T Sales and DTS Delivery colleagues to form an effective virtual team to support license growth and drive significant growth of Services revenue and contribution across the Database & Technology solution.
The SSEM (f/m) is a 100% solution sales expert dedicated to selling and the budget and quota is purely based on the DTS service portfolio.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Position and sell a clear defined service portfolio:
- Database Services
- Data Management Services
- Technology Services
- Operation Services
* The DTS SSEM is responsible for sales execution (direct or through The Account team)
* Ownership of Sales Opportunities
* Build close relationship and joined GTM activities with the D&T License organization in the MU
* Creates, plans, monitors and executes a structured GTM & Sales plan
* Manage all critical business kpis, to include: DTS Order Entry pipeline/forecast and backlog, with a strong oversight of License pipeline
* Close Collaboration with the DTS EMEA Hub for seamless teaming during the sales and delivery cycle
* Driving strict compliance with internal governance and risk processes
WORK EXPERIENCE
* 5+ years’ work experience in IT/Software and/or Consulting Sales
* 3+ years’ experience covering SAP Services Sales and a good knowledge/experience of the Data and Technology market
