About Your Job:
As Manager Transportation Resources you will be responsible for the planning, administration, implementation of policies, monitoring and reporting of required resources for Transport services. You will review the manpower and vehicle resources within the existing staff transport system and recommend required changes and improvements to optimise the utilisation and improve existing service levels. Essential to this role is the ability to identify operational issues, potential problems and opportunities.
You will extend support and guidance for the procurement of transport services to meet the company-wide needs, organise vehicle checks and ensure that all transport fleets are properly maintained, set operational policies and standards including determining safety procedures and employee training sessions.
About You:
To join our 5-star team in this role you will need a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 7 years experience in transportation management. You will have experience working with a large corporate group in a multinational environment within the GCC. Experience within the aviation industry will be highly regarded.
You will be conversant in multiple core areas of transportation management and have the ability to liaise with government authorities on behalf of Qatar Airways. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with employees across all levels of the company. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential in this role.
