With an economy based on high Oil & Gas revenues and a solid investment policy from the Government, the Qatari economy has continued to grow whilst the rest of the World struggled during the Credit Crunch.
Our client, a leading International Oil and Gas Exploration company, is currently looking to recruit an Offshore Materials and Logistics Coordinator to work on 28/28 rotation. The role is offered on a minimum 12 month contract.
Main purpose and focus of the role will be:
Maintaining on-board inventory, cargo and lifting equipment register and hazardous goods and chemicals register
Ensuring back-loaded waste is compliant
Coordination of vessel movements with offshore traffic controller's
Daily planning and preparation of load outs and backloads with onshore personnel
The successful candidate should have the following experience and education:
Oil and gas experience a must and previous offshore experience preferred
Working knowledge of oil and gas materials and equipment
T-Bosiet preferred
IMDG preferred
H2S training
Computer literate, especially with Microsoft Office
Previous experience of working within an Oil and Gas operator or oil field service company preferred.
