PMO Specialist Consultant - Practicus Limited

Role responsibilities:
Working within Portfolio Management Office function:
• Extensive core Programme and Portfolio Management Office experience (. reporting, scheduling, budget control, methods, guidelines, approaches, tools, RACI etc.) working within fast paced complex delivery environment
• Experience of financial control & reporting within projects - interfacing with central finance teams
• Experience of working in & coordinating across PMO teams with diverse skills
• Ability to plan and then proactively drive portfolio activity (. governance & planning)
• Ability to manage ambiguity and changing requirements across a portfolio
• Experience of driving change in geographically dispersed business environments
• Thorough understanding of MS Office (. PowerPoint, Excel), planning tools and project, programme & portfolio management methodologies
• Personality needs to be able to remain calm while driving through activities in a constantly changing environment with competing priorities
Consultancy skills:
• Data collection and research
• Analysis of specific business / project problems
• Mapping business processes
• Interviewing individual stakeholders
• Workshop facilitation
• Report production
• Updating and management of project plans
• Production of reporting packs
• Budget updates
