• To understand and follow all manufacturers and Al Ain Municipality and Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort Standard Operating Procedures in order to exceed the operational requirements and ensure the Guests receive the highest standards of quality products and services at all times.
• To maintain all standard operational procedures up to date in order to provide uniformity in delivery of food and beverage products and services to the guest.
• To ensure that all procedures, polices and regulations are followed in the department in order to provide a safe and fair work environment.
• To communicate new or amended procedures within the department in order to keep the outlets updated with changes.
• To monitor storage and preparation of Food and Beverage products and maintain personal hygiene of colleagues on a daily basis in order to comply within the set standards of the Al Ain Municipality guidelines.
• To monitor colleague performance on the job in order to develop and train colleagues and increase on the job performance levels.
• To conduct weekly meetings with the colleagues in order to communicate important information, plan and follow up on jobs and responsibilities.
• To communicate and delegate task to the Waiters in order to run a smooth operation.
Financial
• To participate in explanation of profit and loss statement, annual budgetary planning and annual business plans in order to provide vital information for budgeting and marketing purposes.
• To ensure that the department is in line with budgetary guidelines set by the Finance department in order to achieve the targeted profit margins and take corrective steps to control over expenditure.
Customers Satisfaction
• To exude a friendly, helpful and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with our Guests and fellow Colleagues in order to support the Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort Vision, Mission.
• To completely satisfy each Guest by greeting and helping them while maintaining a professional appearance at all times and ensuring fast speed of service, preparation of the correct food and beverage order and maintain overall cleanliness of the park which will contribute to the success of the organization shown in the Customer Satisfaction Index results.
• To be fully aware and knowledgeable of all products sold in the F&B Outlets in order to promote, suggest and up-sell these products to the Guest which will in turn increase revenue, per cap and Guest satisfaction.
• To attend guest complaints on a daily basis in order to provide feedback and take corrective action where required.
• To ensure all guest and colleague incidents are appropriately managed, recorded and reported in order to achieve their satisfaction while adhering to the policies and procedures.
Teamwork
• To provide assistance for exclusive use events when needed, and to assist in the preparations of facilities for special functions, themed evenings, etc. in order to contribute to the success of the organization.
Health, Safety and the Environment
• To report any safety concerns to management in order to maintain the highest standard of safety and hygiene at all times.
• To check on daily Food and Beverage operation reports, food safety and hygiene reports in order to be updated on the daily events in the department.
• To maintain a clean environment by picking up garbage inside the park and back of the house, and throwing it in the proper garbage bins in order to provide sanitary surroundings for our Guests and Colleagues.
• Using any machinery, equipment or dangerous substance is used in accordance with training and instruction received;
• Co-operating with Management and following policies and procedure to promote a healthy and safe workplace;
• Take reasonable care of their own health & safety and those individuals around them.
