Contracts Specialist - Qatar - QAR 25,000 per month tax free salary plus; accommodation, furnishing allowance, shipping allowance, medical and dental care plus other benefits

Our client a leading International organisation with decades of industry experience is currently looking to recruit a Contracts Specialist to work in Offshore Well Operations.
The role:
This position is a key role in the Operation responsible and accountable for the execution of procurement strategies that ensure an uninterrupted flow of materials, supplies, and services required for the business unit. Duties include: proponent relationship, annual procurement planning, strategy development and tactical execution of tender processes including preparation of documents, management of the tender process, negotiation and award of contracts, contract management (creation, administration) and supplier performance management metrics for oil and gas operations in an offshore environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years experience in a variety of procurement functions including tactical procurement, strategic sourcing and negotiation and award of contracts for oil and gas operations in an offshore environment.
- Handling of EPC contracts and offshore experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate thoughts in a clear, concise, coherent manner.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and under pressure.
- Excellent skills in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work in a multi-discipline multi-national team environment.
- Strong relationship management skills working with internal customers and suppliers
- Industry experience in Oil or Gas or Service Company operations.
- Experience developing and initiating contracts.
- Working knowledge of complex services type agreements or alliance relationships.
- Supply Chain Management portfolio experience in Drilling or Operations Engineering.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) models (Oracle)
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent equivalent in Business Administration or an Engineering discipline
