Civil Project Engineer, Middle East, Oil & Gas
My client is a world leading oil & gas organisation offering a fantastic opportunity for Civil project engineer. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design OR Study structural modification to facilities within oil production, handling or other related infrastructure including roads, warehouses or residences
- Execute capital projects according to scope, schedule and budget
- Project development responsibility: preliminary engineering to detailed construction design and final and safe hand over to proponent
- Manager general engineering services design contractor activities during the proposal, include definition of work scope and schedule work requirements
- Develop estimation leading to funding
- Development of contracting plan and strategy for solicitation, evaluation, award of contract for detail engineering, procurement and construction
- Manage contractor preparation of detailed design drawings, material specs, procurement/bid packages
- Coordinate activities to resolve among proponents/contractors/other parties to allow construction to commence according to plan
Your skills should consist of:
Min. Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Min. 7 years of experience in civil engineering
Experience with structural facility modification design OR studies
Execution of projects
Some exposure to management of contractor activities and contractor preparation
Fluent English skills
Energy sector experience
