PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP solutions enable our customers to develop quick, agile, and innovative processes that help them lower costs, reduce risk, achieve objectives, expand operations, and evolve with ever changing business requirements, industry trends, and market demand.
To help our customers effectively and economically exploit the functionality embedded within SAP solutions, they can take advantage of the expert guidance offered through our consulting services.
* The Service Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for ensuring the overall implementation success of SAP solutions and business processes through working closely with customer and partners.
* Within the business unit, the SAM provides with leadership and management predominantly around consulting offerings and project delivery.
* The SAM encourages effective teamwork that exceeds customer expectations while being assigned revenue, contribution, and customer satisfaction targets for the group of accounts.
* The SAM collaborates with team members (sales staff and solutions architects) in the development and presentation of customer solutions.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Responsible for one or more strategic customers.
* Strategic Positioning of SAP (Field Services) as Solution Provider.
* Identify and qualify opportunities, execute account strategies to generate product, service and training revenue.
* Establish and maintain successful relationships with customers especially with the C Levels (CEO, CFO, CIO and COO), ensured by their references and customer satisfaction level.
* Account Management.
* Professional management of opportunities and bids, as well as account plans together with account responsible from license sales.
* Generation of reference projects.
* Effective management of the relevant partners.
* Participate in a team-selling environment, typically working with one or more senior Account Managers on assigned named accounts.
Major Key Success Factors (KPI):
* Personal Order Entry (bookings).
* Field Services revenue and profitability.
* Customer satisfaction and references.
WORK EXPERIENCE
* Min 5 years experience in sales activities including generation and management of opportunities and bids, deal closure and client relationship management.
* Solid experience in leading virtual teams.
* Advanced level of sales, c-level communication, advanced negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of the SAP eco system is a prerequisite.
* SAP Delivery experience will be added advantage.
* Knowledge of SAP solutions and Service Portfolio.
