QA (Quality Assurance) Asset/Projects Engineer -Oman- Operator - 2,700 - 3,500 OMR P/M + Benefits
A Major Operator is looking for Asset/ Project Quality Assurance Engineers to join their growing company.
My client is looking for candidates with thorough understanding of quality management systems applied to all projects during all stages of E&P (Exploration and Production). Sound skills in manufacturing, fabrication construction, commissioning, operations and project close requirements, as well as HSE, will also be necessary.
The key accountabilities of successful candidates will be to:
- Develop a quality Management Framework, planning structure and implementation of processes for design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning and operations.
- Involvement in preparing project execution plans, quality plans, procedures and work instructions.
- Build QA program, review, monitor and report on compliance and necessary improvements. Ensure Quality Management systems are in place in line with company policies.
- Maintain effective Quality records and mechanism for tracing
- Assist Project Engineers/Team Leaders on resolution of Quality issues
- Identify Quality goals and plans
- Cover Internal Audit on Project Engineering team at FEED, Design, Construction and Commission phase of oil and Gas projects.
- Cover External Audit: Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors
- Conduct Gap Identification
- Share knowledge on Lessons Learned
- Review specifications, records and reports from Quality perspective
- Participate in equipment and material inspection
- Provide QA and QC training where necessary
