Supply Chain Specialist
This position is for a C17 Field Services supply chain specialist to support C-17 operations in the United Arab Emirates. The position will initially be based near Dubai and will transition to Abu Dhabi when new facilities have been completed.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter, track and monitor customer orders, deliveries and returns using appropriate IT systems.
• Apply a good knowledge of dangerous goods procedure and IATA regulations.
• Monitor material location and take proactive measures to perform redistribution and stock rotation where necessary.
• Monitor supply chain data to ensure defined reorder points and demand quantities are met.
• Process material returned for repair by the customer.
• Coordinate and process documentation associated with repair items to monitor the movement of assets and components through the repair cycle.
• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate delivery problem resolution.
• Provide daily warehousing tasks such as maintaining tidiness, completing inventory checks, shipment preparation and other duties assigned by Base Manager and Team Lead.
• A highly energetic, skilled professional is required to fill this position supporting the UAE C-17 fleet and the forthcoming relocation to Abu Dhabi.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Do you have experience using supply support IT systems?
Do you have warehouse operations experience?
Typical Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent and typically 5 or more years' experience in supply chain support or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Field experience supporting airlift is highly desirable. Experience working with Boeing GOLD and Warehouse on Web (WOW) Supply systems and with International customers would be an advantage. Familiarity with the Arabic language and culture preferred.
Other Job Related Information:
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position working second shift from 2.00 PM to 10.00 PM Sunday through Thursday. The position will initially be located in Dubai, but will transfer to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, when new facilities are ready. Incumbent must be able to periodically travel, principally in the Middle East but possibly elsewhere as dictated by job requirements. Benefits and pay will be determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UAE Law. The employment is subject to the candidates' ability to satisfy all UAE labor and immigration formalities and to obtain a UAE Armed Forces Security Clearance. Relocation benefits will be available.
