Inbound Logistic Planner - Quest Search and Selection

One of the worlds most prestigious FMCG businesses is looking to hire an energetic Inbound Logistics Planner who will be supporting the Logistics Manager in driving strategic operations to provide best practice methods for inbound supply management.

This is a role where you will be required to collaborate with various suppliers, transport forwarders, warehouse operators/brokers. This is a high demand merchandise handling environment where you will need to ensure safety, on time and cost effective delivery of goods, which will in turn meet the demand and on time distribution targets. You will likewise coordinate customs clearance and other necessary document processing to ensure credibility and commercial values of commodities against shipment.

For this role you will be a specialist in logistics ideally within an FMCG environment, with great analytical skills coupled with strong organizational and communication skills. You should have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, be knowledgeable in customs procedure regulations and have advanced knowledge of MS office tools; SAP experience would advantageous.
