Job Description
The Credit Data Management (CDM) team is based in Singapore and will report in to Head, Credit Control & Data Management.
The team is responsible for monitoring the completeness and accuracy of trade and counterparty static data impacting credit exposure measurement, limits monitoring, credit risk reporting and credit systems output used in credit risk capital calculations for IMM eligible transactions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Trade data: Reconciliation and investigation of trade breaks and trade messing discrepancies for FM trading platforms, businesses interfaced with ACR.
* Counterparty accounts & hierarchies: Ongoing monitoring of inactive, dummy & dormant accounts in ACR. Follow up with static data units on resolution of any counterparty account and hierarchy issues.
* Credit grades: Monitoring of credit grade changes for counterparties subject to certain thresholds and validation of these against counterparty BCAs in CreditMate. Follow up with CRC and Credit teams on resolution of any data or process issues impacting credit grades data in ACR.
* Master documentation: Review and investigation of legal agreement stamping differences between client master documentation System (CDMS) and ACR. Follow up with MDU, Credit and Risk Technology teams on resolution of any data or process issues.
* Credit limits: Review of credit limits reconciliation undertaken by CRC. Investigation into disparities in activated limits versus limits loaded on ACR.
* Market data management in ACR: Market data mapping within ACR including investigation into valuation breaks resulting in processing failures within ACR Adaptiv Analytics valuation engine (ACR AA). Report trades which default to fallback exposure calculation as a result of Market data breaks.
* CRM will manage end-to-end currency approval and set-up process in ACR, including amendments of existing currency set-up, for example rebasing of currency. Manage on boarding, approval process and set up of new currencies in ACR.
* Credit limits excesses, utilisation MIS: Report and monitor credit limit excesses statistics to facilitate limit right sizing and reduction of temporary credit limit excess volumes.
* Credit excess investigations MIS: Monitor and report aging of open credit excess investigations. This reporting on an exceptional basis would all credit platforms, limits monitored by Credit Control & Reporting team - ACR, ACES, NIKE, OPICS and Issuer Risk.
* Trade MtM valuation breaks: Monitoring of differences between FM Trading Platform MtM and ACR (AA) trade MtM valuations. Review and investigation of MTM differences to identify data, process issues contributing to systemic credit exposure misstatement in ACR.
* Exposure moves validation: Report and investigate changes in counterparty MtM and Peak PFE exposures subject to certain predefined thresholds.
* ACR system performance: CDM will review credit system performance which will include reporting ACR batch completion versus SLAs, accuracy and completeness of the various staged jobs, reports within the batch process.
* All ACR bugs raised, regardless of the team that raised them, will be managed by CDM
CRM will also be responsible for managing the access right to ACR and will commit to a regular review of all users. CDM will act as Business owners of ACR and approve any RMS requests arising from BAU / project activity.
Qualifications & Skills
Good Banking experience and Financial Markets products knowledge
