Our client provides a range of services from consultancy, detailed design & engineering, construction, installation & commissioning, with the disciplines of civil, structural, mechanical, piping/pipeline, and controls, electrical and instrumentation. They support the complete project cycle from FEED stage through to start-up and ongoing Asset Management Services.
They are currently looking to recruit a Lead Project Engineer who will report directly to the Project Manager. The successful candidate will have between 8-10 years experience in a similar position with expertise in at least one discipline; Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical. Responsibility for management and coordination of all technical activities on assigned design engineering and EPC projects.
Typical Duties:
- Project Design engineering schedules and forecasts.- Weekly engineering status reports and change order log.- Oversee the preparation of specialist study reports
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical management aspect of projects- Extensive regular contact with assigned project clients- Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals
